Exercises

Each lesson contains a series of exercises which are aimed at developing your intuition, your sense of observation and of course, your knowledge of the cards. It is very important that you do your exercises on a regular basis for you to become comfortable with the cards and in gaining confidence and wisdom.

On average each lesson and their subsequent exercises will take between 1 to 3 hours per week to complete.

Material for the course

You will need the Rider Waite Smith tarot deck (Original, Universal, Radiant, Smith Waite borderless or Radiant Wise).
Tarot decks can be purchased from any good esoteric shop and of course, online.

 

However, be aware of fake tarot decks which are infiltrating the market. Please read Oephebia's blog about how to spot fake tarot decks.

Lessons

The Awakening Tarot course is a private one-to-one tarot course via webcam.

 

Each lesson contained in module I lasts for one and a half hours and will be on a one-to-one basis with Oephebia, the emphasis being focused toward understanding the cards and their symbolism, relationships with each other, practical interpretation, actual readings etc. Please note that handouts of each lesson will be send to you by email, as a pdf format.

 

Each lesson incorporated in module II lasts for two hours and will be as above.

The course offers over thirty seven (37) hours of private one to one tuition with Oephebia.

Length of study

You will study at your own pace, although, having a routine will be beneficial in the sense of connecting your intuition with the symbolism of the cards. An average of one lesson a week is good to maintain your connection with the Tarot and to progress steadily.

 

The Awakening tarot course should be completed within six months (24 weeks) from your date of enrolment.

 

After this, if the course has not been completed within this period a new enrolment fee of £90 will be required to continue the course.

Tarot Certification

Students will be assessed on an ongoing basis and will awarded the Oephebia’s Tarot Tuition Certificate of Completion (Advanced Level) after successfully completing the course.

A code of ethics will also be signed to help maintain a high standard of readings within the tarot community.

Fees

• £90 Enrolment fee (non-refundable)
• £43 per lesson (Module I)
• £48 per lesson (Module II)
• £45 cancellation fee

Usually, tarot lessons are paid at the beginning of the month (4 lessons per month) so we can concentrate on the fun of learning instead of the nitty gritty of finances.

Some students prefer to pay per module (as it acts as an incentive to do the tarot course for them) or even the whole tarot course.
It is obviously according to each individual.

Enrolment

Enrolment is once a year, every September (at any time as long as it is September).

As the Awakening Tarot tuition course is very popular and places are limited, students will be asked to pay an enrolment fee (non-refundable) in order to secure their place.

 

The course is suitable for people everywhere regardless of geographical location and it is suitable for total beginners.
